Better late than never, but thought I would share some images from the fantastic Summer Show from Craft Scotland. This was our first time exhibiting with Craft Scotland, and it was such a thrill to have been selected to represent the best of Scottish Craft.
I travelled down to Edinburgh for the opening night which was buzzing! Enjoyed a wee glass of wine and chatted to visitors and bloggers including Kimberley from Wardrobe Conversations. I loved how the ladies at Craft Scotland had displayed my scarves, simply and effective and allowed buyers to pull the scarves out and look at the prints properly without worrying about ‘messing up the display’!
I went back down again on the 26th August to be in store for the day, discussing my work and the other designers with customers and visitors to the show. Lucky me also got to join in an earring making workshop with Emily Millichip in the afternoon, making metallic leather tassled earrings. I’m never one to miss a crafting opportunity!
Thank you to Craft Scotland for having me be part of this event.
